Overview
Standard excision is a minor surgical procedure in which a skin lesion is completely removed by cutting out the lesion and surrounding tissue margin. The wound is then closed with sutures to ensure proper healing and minimize scarring.

Care Instructions
- Keep sutures clean and dry.
- Avoid strenuous activity and heavy lifting for 1–2 weeks.
- Do not get sutures wet for first 24 hours.

- Return for suture removal at scheduled time (typically 7–14 days).
- Protect scar from sun exposure with sunscreen.
